Searches will continue this weekend for the two missing crewmen of Rescue 116 – Ciaran Smyth and Paul Ormsby.

155 divers, co-ordinated by the West Cork Search and Rescue, will continue searches in and around Blackrock Island.

Members of the navy and Gardai will also be on site again.

Local people are providing accommodation for some 120 of the divers in the area.

Meanwhile the Roscommon Solstice Choir will perform a concert to help fundraising efforts for the local community who have been providing food for the search and rescue teams and the families of the crew members.

The concert now goes ahead in St Brendan’s Church Tirrane on Sunday evening at 6pm, as opposed to the original venue of St Brendan’s Hall in Eachleam.

The choir will lay a wreath at Blacksod Lighthouse at 3pm on Sunday prior to the event.
