Rail bosses are warning people not to take short cuts across train tracks.
Irish Rail has released footage from Kilbarrack Station in Dublin of a man crossing the tracks and narrowly avoiding the Dublin to Belfast train which was travelling at speeds of 140 kilometres per hour.
Other videos show trespassers crossing with bikes, and even a toddler being carried across in a stroller.
Irish Rail's Jane Cregan says drivers were forced to hit the brakes 32 times last year to avoid impact.
