Man arrested following incident on Dublin to Westport train

An incident occurred on the 18.15 Dublin to Westport train yesterday evening which resulted in the train being delayed by 60 minutes.
A man was arrested by Gardaí which occurred while the train was stopped at Ballyhaunis Railway Station.
Gardaí were called to the scene by Irish Rail and a man was removed from the train and arrested for an alleged public order offence.
Jane Cregan of Iarnród Eireann says nobody on board their services should be intimated or victims of any abuse so they take these incidences very seriously.
