There's bad news for the travelling public this morning after talks to resolve the Bus Eireann dispute broke down without a deal.
The company says agreement was reached on eliminating many work practice inefficiencies, but their offer aimed at addressing financial viability was rejected by the driver grade within the unions.
The dispute, which is in its 19th day, is now being referred to the Labour Court.
Bus Eireann is losing half a million euro per day of the strike action.
