Maureen Haughey, wife of the late Taoiseach Charles, will be laid to rest on Tuesday.
She passed away yesterday at the age of 91.
Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin described her as a woman with an instinctive attachment to politics.
Funeral mass will take place at St. Sylvester's Parish Church, Malahide followed by burial in Fintan's Cemetery, Sutton, Dublin.
Mrs Haughey is survived by her daughter Eimear, sons Conor, Ciaran and TD Seán.
Mrs Haughey’s late husband Chalres J. Haughey was born in Castlebar in 1925 and passed away in 2006.
