Mayo Roscommon Hospice has announced the appointment of Martina Jennings from Hollymount as the new CEO of the organisation.
Martina will take over from Cynthia Clampett, who’s retiring in the coming months.
Martina Jennings has over 20 years business experience -most recently as Head of Commercial Sales with Miele Ireland - and also founded and chaired CF West, which was set up to build a state of the art clinic for Cystic Fibrosis patients in the West of Ireland.
The 1.4 million euro unit was officially opened just over a year ago at Mayo University Hospital.
Speaking with Midwest News today, Martina says there are exciting times ahead with plans to build hospice units in Castlebar and Roscommon, and she will work with the Hospice staff and board to complete both projects, while continuing to provide the vital palliative care service.
