Sligo Deputy Eamon Scanlon is calling for clarification on why young farmers cannot secure a Green Cert at the Teagasc Centre in Ballymote from June of this year

Sligo Fianna Fail Deputy Eamon Scanlon is calling for clarification on why young farmers cannot secure a Green Cert at the Teagasc Centre in Ballymote from June of this year.

He has raised the matter in the Dail,  because he says that young farmers in Sligo are being told the Green Cert course is not available at the county Sligo centre from June this year or next  year( 2018).

The deputy told Midwest news today that believes the staff are in place to provide the course and says he cannot understand what the problem is.
