Dense fog causes issues at Ireland West Airport Knock this morning

Dense fog has caused some issues at Ireland West Airport Knock this morning.

The 9.35am Ryanair flight from London Stansted has been diverted to Shannon, while the 10.50am Ryanair flight from East Midlands held overhead for a time but did manage to land, as did the 11.25am Ryanair flight from London Luton.

There are reports of heavy fog across the region and motorists are being advised to use their fog lights in affected areas but to turn them off when no longer needed.
