INMO Invite Taoiseach in Galway today to Visit ED of GUH which they claim is in "Crisis"
- Details

The emergency department at University Hospital Galway is in crisis - according to the country's main nursing union, the INMO.
52 people were on trolleys and overflow areas of wards in the hospital yesterday.
HSE management implemented the full capacity protocol and non urgent elective procedures were cancelled.
The INMO claimed yesterday that there were just four nurses to look after 38 admitted patients in the ED.
Ann Burke is Industrial Relations Officer with the union and she told Midwest News why they are now asking Enda Kenny to come into the ED dept of the hospital today when he is in the city on other official engagements and to view the “crisis” situation first hand.
