As the teachers strike continues there's a warning that students aren't getting the education they're entitled to.

Up to 700 secondary schools remained closed today and the National Parents Council says it's unfair to deny children classes.

Members of the ASTI union want better salaries for new entrants to the profession.

But they won't sign up to the Government's Lansdowne Road agreement restoring pay for public sector workers.
