Mayo Senator calls to end discrimination against Inver National School

A Mayo Senator has called on the Minister for Education to end the discrimination against Inver National School, as they continue to find themselves in a situation that they do not come under the DEIS scheme.
Fine Gael Senator Michelle Mulherin has once again raised the plight of Inver National School in the Seanad.
Inver is the only national school in Erris that does not fall under the DEIS scheme, even though it would seem to meet most if not all the criteria.
The issue goes back to 2005 when forms which would qualify Inver for DEIS status, were not returned to the Department.
