Main Ballyhaunis to Ballaghaderreen Road Remains Closed to Traffic Due to Works on Bridge at Classaroe

It is likely to be later this week before the main road between Ballyhaunis and Ballaghaderreen reopens to traffic as works are underway on the bridge at Classaroe.
The road has been closed for weeks by Mayo county council who have had to change the reopening date on a number of occasions, causing frustration to local road users.
It appears that weather permitting, a stretch of resurfacing on the bridge is now necessary and its planned to have it completed midweek and the road will again be open to traffic.
