Taoiseach will Turn the Sod on New 7 Million Euro Primary Care Centre in Claremorris this Afternoon

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny will be in Claremorris this afternoon to officially turn the sod for the New Primary Care Centre in the town.
The ceremony takes place 2:30pm at the site, located on Kilcolman Road.
The HSE centre is one of three currently under construction in the county and is due to be completed and operational in about 9 months time.
The other two sites, located in Westport and Ballinrobe , are at the early construction stage.
JJ Rhatigan is the contractor for the new Claremorris facility which will cost close to 7 million euro and will include an ambulance base.
A range of health services will be available in the centre which will also accommodate three GP practices.
The Taoiseach has a number of engagements in the county today. At 5pm he will be at Lough Lannagh in the county town to attend a briefing on SIRO’s plans to deliver Ireland’s first 100% fibre-optic broadband network to Castlebar and the unveiling of SIRO’s third retail partner.
Later this evening he will launch The Little Book of Mayo by Eamon Henry. A book of fascinating and entertaining facts about Co. Mayo with facts about its towns, heritage and history.
The launch takes place in the Castle Street Bookshop at 6pm.
