Crossmolina to benefit from funding under new Town and Village Renewal Scheme

Crossmolina is one of four areas in Mayo to receive funding under the new Town and Village Renewal Scheme.
Funding of about €95,000 has been granted to Crossmolina for the development of an old county council building into an interpretative exhibition area.
The building is located on the Castlebar Road in Crossmolina, beside the library.
Local Fianna Fail Cllr Michael Loftus says the funding is a boost to the town, especially with all the local concerns over flooding.
