The National Museum of Country Life in Turlough, CAstlebar is the venue for a national seminar and discussion on Traveller Culture and Heritage on Saturday week next, Feb. 23rd.
The event takes place between 2 and 5pm on Saturday afternoon and all are welcome.
It will be chaired by Senator Colette Kelleher and includes a panel discussion by representatives of Traveller groups from across the country.
They will give an insight on the tradition and contemporary Traveller culture.
Hugh Friel of the Donegal Traveller group is among the participants and he told Midwest News more about what it means to be a traveler in Ireland today.
