A number of Mayo food businesses were among the winners at the third annual Food Awards Ireland 2018.

The awards were announced in Dublin on Monday.

Treanlaur Catering in Mayo won the Caterer of the Year overall award.

The Restaurant General Manager of the Year award

 went to Rafal Tobiasz at The Pizza Bros in Castlebar.

The award for best café / bistro in the West was won by Appetite Café in Castlebar, while The Cot and Cobble in Ballina was named Best Restaurant of the year in the West.

The Pilot Bar in Sligo was named Gasto Pub of the Year in the West.

And a number of Galway businesses were also among the award winners.

Aniar Restaurant won the award for Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year.

Dela Restaurant in Galway was named best Traditional Irish Restaurant, while Il Vicolo won the award for Best Italian Establishment .
