Tomorrow (Sat) two Belmullet men will swim from Iniskea Island to the mainland, attempting a swim that has never been done before.

Paul Reilly and Mark Dixon will leave iniskea at 2.15pm and hope to make it to the mainland close to 4pm.

They will come ashore on the shore line under Tiarran Church.

They have been fundraising for the past 5 weeks for Crumlin Children's Hospital and as of today (Fri) have raised 4,000 euro.

There will be a bucket collection tomorrow if anyone wishes to donate to the cause.

the swim was to take place on sept 15th, but was postponed due to storms.
