With more than 200 highly qualified Order of Malta volunteers from across county Mayo on duty this Sunday around Knock Shrine, no one attending the Papal visit should have any concerns about not feeling well on the day. Help will be visible and close at hand, according to the Coordinator of the Medical Services of the voluntary aid groups on duty, John Egan of the Order of Malta.

John was on duty at the Marian Shrine back in 1979 when well in excess of 300,00 people  attended the visit of Pope John Paul II, he told Midwest News today that this Sunday’s operation is now very much in hand.
