It’s on your tractor along an 18 mile stretch the wild Atlantic Way tomorrow (Sunday) as up to 120 tractors will take part in a fund raising tractor run in aid of Killeen National School, Louisburgh and its extensive new school building project that includes the Sunbeam classroom, accommodating children with disabilities.

The tractor run is taking place in memory of two past pupils, local men who died tragically last Christmas when their vehicle was swept away in flood waters. Declan Davitt and Martin Needham were the men who died and it was Declan’s idea two years ago to organise a tractor run as part of an extensive fund raising effort in a rural community to generate 120,000 euro for the new school facilities.
