"Glastonbury along the Wild Atlantic Way", is how the Love Lannagh Festival in Castlebar is being described this year by the festival Director Helen O’Hara.
The free admission, family fun festival, now in its fifth year, has expanded out to a two day event this Saturday and Sunday on the banks of Lough Lannagh in the county town.
It’s an arts and adventure weekend organised by Love Castlebar, and it boasts an extensive programme of live music, children’s activities, water sports, food fare and a lot more.
There are more than 600 volunteers already busy setting up the extravaganza, that is set to be bigger and better than ever before.
Helen has been telling Midwest News more about what people can expect at the Love Lannagh festival
