Sligo receives a jobs boost with Debenhams confirmed as anchor tenant in new shopping centre

Sligo has received a jobs boost today.
The Debenhams chain has announced it's to open a store at a new shopping centre in the Wine Street area of Sligo town.
The development is due to open by December 2013.
Debenhams will employ up to 120 people.
Tesco, Penneys and Dunnes Stores, which are already in Sligo town, are planning to move into the new development.
The whole Wine Street development is expected to create 350 jobs during construction.
Treasury Holdings who are developing the project say that a further 500 direct and indirect jobs will be created when it is completed.
The entire development will cost €80m and will have 260,000 square feet of retail space.
