Work to start on resurfacing road though Ballymoe village

Works will start tomorrow on resurfacing the road through the village of Ballymoe, on the Galway / Roscommon border.
Tuam-based Independent Councillor Sean Canney has confirmed that Galway County Council is to carry out long-awaited resurfacing works, which will involve the planing of the existing road surface in Ballymoe and the laying of tarmacadam overlay from the Galway side of the village to the junction with the Castlerea road.
Councillor Canney has requested that further funding be made available to complete the resurfacing to the county boundary.
