N26 Foxford to Ballina Road Reopens After Fatal Collision

The N26 road between Foxford and Ballina has reopened to traffic this afternoon.
It was closed following a road collision last night which claimed the life of a woman in her fifties.
The 2 car collision happened at 9.20pm at Armstrong’s corner, about 3 miles outside Foxford on the Ballina road.
The name of the woman who died has not yet been released by gardai but it’s understood she is from the locality.
