The funeral will take place tomorrow of football manager and Midwest Radio Soccer Editor Jeremy Dee, who died following a road collision near Williamstown on Sunday.

Mr Dee, a native of Bekan who trained the Castlebar Celtic Women’s team, was on his way to a match in Dublin on Sunday morning when his car crashed into a wall at Kildaree, Williamstown.

He died later at Mayo General Hospital.

Since Sunday, many tributes have been paid to Jeremy Dee by those involved in soccer across the county and across the country.

His remains will repose at Donnellan’s Funeral Home, Ballyhaunis this evening from 5 to 8pm, with removal to Bekan Church.

Funeral Mass will take place at 12 noon tomorrow, with burial afterwards in Bekan cemetery.
