Ballyhaunis councillor seeks NRA funding for Morley's Corner

A Ballyhaunis councillor is seeking funding from the National Roads Authority for safety measures to be put in place at what he terms a dangerous junction on the Ballyhaunis-Charlestown road, at the turn-off for Ballaghadereen.
A number of accidents have been reported at the junction, known locally as Morley’s Corner, and Fine Gael Councillor John Cribben has asked Mayo County Council to seek NRA funding to install an extra lane for traffic turning right onto the Ballaghadereen road.
