A question mark looms over the future of a Post Office service in Bonniconlon, following the decision of the local postmaster to resign.
The postmaster has tendered his resignation today, and the service will cease on 19th January at its current location.
Ballina-based FG Deputy Michelle Mulherin says An Post is considering the permanent closure of a postal service in Bonniconlon, but has today started a consultation process in the local community, for those who wish to make a submission, or who may be interested in taking over the service…..
