Boots and Heatons announce temporary jobs, in run up to Christmas

650 new jobs are being created around the country - for the Christmas period.
Pharmacy chain Boots and department store Heatons are taking on extra staff for the busy festive season.
Heatons, which has stores locally in Castlebar, Ballina, Roscommon and Sligo, is creating 250 temporary jobs across its network of 52 stores.
However, the company is not currently recruiting at its Castlebar store.
Boots, which has stores in Castlebar. Westport, Roscommon, Galway and Sligo, is offering 400 temporary jobs over the festive season – both full and part time.
