Turnout slow so far as Mayo islanders vote on Children's Referendum

Voting is underway in the Children’s Referendum on Mayo and Galway offshore islands.
So far, turnout on the Mayo islands is reported as slow.
Within the past hour, turnout was at 10% on Inisbiggle, 6% on Clare Island and just 4% on Inisturk.
The polling stations on the islands remain open until 7pm this evening.
