Midwest Radio has secured 4 nominations in the National Advertising Awards  - the 2012 Love Radio Awards.

It has two of the 4 nominations in the category Station Promotion and is shortlisted in the Best Radio Campaign Category for a series of hard hitting road safety adds broadcast last winter, called “Buckle up”.

It has also been shortlisted in the Best Retail Category – for an ad for Don Racines in Castlebar.

Padraig Walsh is the producer of all the ads that have been shortlisted for the station this year.

Padraig has secured numerous national awards for the quality and creativity of his radio ads over many years

The awards will be announced at a Gala Awards evening in The Burlington Hotel in Dublin on December 6^th.
