Hungarian woman involved in Newport accident has died in hospital

A Hungarian woman who was pulled from her car after it went over the Quay wall in Newport and into the sea almost two weeks ago has died in hospital.
34-year old Edina Voros from Hungary, who had lived and worked in the Newport area for a number of years, was on her own in the car on the morning of Sunday 21st October, when the car crashed over the Quay Wall and into the water.
When the alarm was raised, she was taken from the car to Mayo General Hospital, where she passed away earlier this week.
She will be laid to rest in Newport today following funeral service at 1o’clock.
