Cuts in Mayo General Budget Hit X ray Machine According to Councillor

The X-Ray machine attached to the Accident and Emergency Dept of Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar is out of order for a period of time now and according to Castlebar Independent councillor Michael Kilcoyne the HSE hasn’t got the money to repair it.
The councillor says the cut in services recently at Mayo General Hospital is to be raised again at next week’s monthly meeting of Castlebar Town council.
He insists that it’s the duty of elected representatives to raise such issues for the electorate that they represent.
