Tomorrow evening in Galway city there is a free forum to discuss mental health issues.

“I matter”,  lifeskills for your mental health in challenging times will be hosted in the Jigsaw premises opposite the new Coach station in Galway city, tomorrow (Thursday) between 6 and 8pm.

It aims to dispel the myths and fears surrounding mental health and challenge the negative labels which can cause hurt and discrimination.

Tomorrow evening’s forum  is a follow on from the Volvo Ocean race Mental Health Matters campaign which took place last July.

Cieran Lynch is a Clinical Nurse Manager with Galway Mental Health Services and told Midwest News today that everyone is invited to take part in the initiative.
