Castlebar and Ballina Achieve "Cleaner than European Norms " in latest IBAL Litter League

Castlebar and Ballina have both performed exceptionally well in the latest litter survey by Irish Business Against Litter (IBAL), coming in fourth and ninth positions respectively and both towns rated “Cleaner than European Norms”.
Dr Tom Kavanagh the Chairman of IBAL told Midwest News this morning that both towns surpassed expectations and he congratulated everyone involved in achieving the result.
Galway city, Sligo town and Roscommon town were all deemed under this survey to be clean to European Norms, coming in 23rd, 25th and 27th respectively.
