Galway TD warns farmers risk losing Disadvantaged Area payments

Farmers risk losing their Disadvantaged Area payments if they fail to respond by the end of next week to letters being issued this week by the Department of Agriculture – that’s according to Galway West Fianna Fail TD Eamon O’Cuiv, who says stocking levels were changed retrospectively.
Farmers have until Friday week 24th August to reply, and make their case as to why they should not lose out on their payments.
