13 acts confirmed for Night With The Stars

 

Midwest Radio are delighted to announce another spectacular line-up of artists for our “Night With The Stars” at the Royal Theatre, Castlebar on Monday September 6th, 2010 at 8.00 p.m.

Our show features the ‘cream of the crop’ in the Irish music industry with Mike Denver, Nathan Carter, Patrick Feeney, John McNicholl, Dominic Kirwan and Brendan Shine topping the bill in a not-to-be-missed concert.  We're also delighted to have secured the services of Margo on the night and she will perform some of her best known songs for her legion of fans.

In keeping with the tradition of promoting local talent Midwest Radio are also delighted to have the colourful Rejoice Gospel Choir from Ballina perform an exciting 10-minute segment and renowned local singer John Kelly – the man from Knock with the distinctive voice – will also appear on the bill.

The youngest performer on the night with be Liam Geddes from Ballina who as well as featuring as a finalist on the National Song Contest in 2009 has also being performing with the legendary Bagatelle of late.  Nineteen year-old Liam is an exceptional talent and is definitely carving out a bring future for himself.  Another act from the ‘young stable’ of music will be Lisa McHugh who was runner-up in the Glor Tire competition on TG4 in May and Lisa will be travelling down from Donegal to perform a number of tracks from her new album.

It doesn’t end there!  Singer/songwriter Gerry Carney, whose latest song “Paddy” has been receiving extensive airplay due to public demand will be on stage to perform this very popular song and another seasoned campaigner Sean Slattery – former lead singer with the Conquerors – will be entertaining the audience with his distinctive voice.
